FOR THOSE WHO REQUIRE
THE RECORD PLAINLY
This record provides clear answers concerning the identity, terminology, creative discipline, artefacts and mythology of The House of Shaneela.
Where the House speaks through mythology elsewhere, it speaks plainly here.
The House and Its Discipline

House of Shaneela is a British mythic haute-luxury fragrance house with an Arabian heritage.
It creates fragrances as artistic artefacts, bringing together scent, manuscript, flacon and provenance through its discipline of HAUTE REALM-MAKING.
The date belongs to the mythology of the House. It marks the narrative point from which the Realm, its manuscripts and its artefacts begin.
It is distinct from the contemporary establishment of The House of Shaneela as a British-founded fragrance house.
The House does not regard perfume solely as a consumable product.
A House fragrance is conceived as a cultural object carrying composition, narrative, artistic intention and provenance. The perfume, its manuscript and its flacon together form the complete artefact.
HAUTE REALM-MAKING is the House's term for bringing mythic or fictional realms into physical existence through fragrance, objects, manuscripts, imagery and experience.
It is not simply storytelling placed around a finished product. The Realm is the originating source from which the physical artefact is formed.
The Golden Veil Accord is the proprietary olfactory signature carried through the fragrances of House of Shaneela. It connects compositions with otherwise distinct notes and narratives, allowing them to remain individual while still being recognisable as creations of the same House.
The Founding Collection and Access

No.
The Founding Collection is a closed, non-repeatable series of an undisclosed quantity of artefacts. Some will remain within the House archive and the remaining are being placed by invitation with selected Custodians.
The House is currently within its first scented chapter, in which only the Founding Collection has been presented to the world.
As these are one-off artefacts, entrusted rather than sold, no price is attached to them, and so no price listing is required.
Placement is the considered entrusting of a House artefact to a selected recipient.
It is distinct from an ordinary retail transaction and does not require the recipient to provide publicity, endorsement or access in return.
A Custodian is a person entrusted with one of the founding artefacts.
The term describes the relationship between the recipient and the object: an acknowledgement that its provenance passes into their keeping and that the same artefact cannot be replaced once it has been placed.
Yes. The hand-cut crystal flacons belong specifically to the Founding Collection.
Within the House Mythology

The Hidden Empress is a veiled figure who is yet to be revealed within the mythology and visual Realm of The House of Shaneela. No further account of her identity is offered by the House.
